PORTRAITS
“Sillage” is a French word that describes the subtle trail of scent that perfume leaves behind. That’s what I’m after. I’m not looking for reality in a portrait, but rather traces, sensations, feelings…
Part of the beauty of working with people is being able to capture that single instant which has already passed, that will never repeat itself and that will always remain as the proof of a particular moment in our lives.
I am looking to help leave “something” of that person behind.
